Experimenting With Transfers

I've recently discovered a method of transferring an image from an inkjet print to paper at fairly large scale. After making the transfer, I reinterpret the result back into a traditional print on fine-art paper. Here are a few of the results. Any feedback is welcomed.

IGPOTY (International Garden Photographer of the Year)--2012

International Garden Photographer of the Year Competition,
sponsored by Kew Gardens, London. Here's the beautiful pavilion
where my work is displayed--I placed in two categories.
The work I entered is from the Solace: Adrift with Flowers work
as seen on the first gallery on my website.

About Me

My photo
John Grant
Charlottesville, Virginia, United States
Some of you may remember me as a co-founder of the fine art publishing group "Thomasson- Grant". Now I've come full circle, back to my original interests and instinctive love of photography. Experimenting with new technological tools and techniques, my work most often focuses on botanical imagery. I am represented by Getty Images worldwide, by Kathleen Ewing Gallery in Washington, D. C. and by Les Yeux du Monde Gallery in Charlottesville. I work out of my home studio in Charlottesville.
